Two litre water month challenge

It didn’t happen. Sob.

The challenge was to try and drink 2 litres of water a day. I wanted to see if I could feel cleaner and happier on it. But I just couldn’t find a taste that would keep me motivated.

It was going so well

For about 10 days and then I fell off the wagon, hard. I went through the bloating and the ‘oh this is tedious’ bit and then when I thought I was seeing the light. I fell hard.

I added lemon, ginger, apple juice, squash, berries, mint, you name it – I probably did it. Spent a lot of money on fruit infusion bags for the good old water but it just didn’t stick.

It is true and I know that 10 days isn’t long enough to make it stick, but I couldn’t seem to find the ability to drink the full 2 litres.

The light or positive is that I now drink one litre, but the extra one is harder!

I don’t know what it is, maybe the constant need to go to the loo!!!

But I am taking from it that it doesn’t always need to be perfect, but actually that just starting it is making me more aware of what I have or haven’t drunk during the day!

There is light!!

    My challenge for July was making it to the end of July. Mission accomplished. At least you’re drinking MORE water, right? Missing you on IG, will be glad when the Verena Hiatus is over! Hope you’re doing something fun and that we’ll get to hear all about it….
